Experience Tour
What to Expect
What is the duration of the tour?
The tour takes 1 hour to complete. Each visit will be in groups of a maximum of 8 persons with 15 minute interval time slots.
Is the tour safe in total darkness?
Yes, the tour is safe as you will be guided by our professionally trained guides through the rooms. In addition, there are safety precautionary measures such as cameras and a well-designed evacuation plan in case of any emergency.
Do I go through darkness alone?
No, each group will be led by our professionally trained guides. He or she will remain with you throughout the journey and lead you back to the light at the end.
What will be each group size?
All groups will be a maximum of 8 persons. If you come in a larger group, we will divide you into groups of 8. If you come in a smaller group or individually, you may be placed with other visitors during the tour. For safety reasons, a guide is responsible for a maximum of 8 persons for the optimum dark experience.
Is it necessary to purchase drinks at the Kopitiam during the tour?
A Kopitiam is located at the end of your journey through the galleries of the tour. This purchase is part of the experience where you will have an opportunity to interact and share your thoughts with your guide and other participants.
Are there washrooms available during the tour?
There are no washrooms available during the tour. We recommend that you visit the washroom in advance before the tour. If you need to use the washroom during the tour, you may raise your request to the guide and will be led out. However we do not recommend this as it will create a disruption in your own dark experience as well as the rest of the visitors in your group.
What if I cannot withstand the darkness unexpectedly?
If at any time, you experience discomfort in the dark and need to end your tour, please verbally alert the accompanying guide and he or she will have someone guide you safely out to the light.
Is there a risk when I come into the light again?
There is no risk. At the end of the tour, the guide will bring you out into the light in stages. There will be a dim light so your eyes can adjust again to the light gradually. In this manner, every health risk is excluded.
Preparation before Tour
Is there anything I should prepare for before the tour?

All light emitting devices such as watches, cellphones, cameras, or glow-in-the-dark items must be taken off before entering. Lockers will be provided for your personal belongings.

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Outside food or beverages are not allowed, but as part of the experience, drinks can be purchased during the tour (with cash only). In the Kopitiam, we only accept cash, small change in MYR currency should be prepared.
Visitor Restrictions
Can young children join the tour?

We recommend for children aged 7 and above to join the tour. If you wish to experience the tour as a family group, as parents you can decide if your child (younger than 7 years old) would be ready to experience 1 hour in total darkness.

We do not recommend taking an infant into the tour.

Do note that we do not provide child-minding services.
Can those with special needs join the tour?

We will provide a manual wheelchair and a special guide. For those who use an electric wheelchair, it is necessary to change into our own mechanical wheelchair.

For people who are dependent on walking aids, it may be necessary to use our wheelchair. An additional guide will be assigned to look after him / her.

In the darkness, hearing is of utmost importance. If you are affected in this area, please let us know. We have good experiences with hearing impaired visitors. It is recommended to have a sign language interpreter present. However, if there is none, we can assign an additional guide to provide tactile hand signals, so even if in the dark, communication can take place.

If you are in your advanced stage of pregnancy, please let us know so that the guide can take measures to ensure your safety, eg. prevent collisions, etc
Ticket Booking
Should I book my slot before the tour? Or can I walk-in and purchase my ticket?
I’m a non-MyKad (Malaysian Identity Card) holder. How much are ticket admissions for me?
Ticket prices are the same for all at Dialogue Includes All Experience Centre.
Can I book the tour in different languages?
Tours are primarily conducted in English. We also have Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin language tours at this moment, just indicate your request upon booking your tickets.
When should I collect my ticket? What if I am delayed?
All reserved tickets must be collected not later than 15 minutes before the tour starts. After 15 minutes, your ticket reservation is automatically released. We request that you notify us of any changes or cancellations as soon as possible. If you are delayed, we can possibly grant you admission to a tour at a later date or time, subject to availability.
Cuising Dining in the Dark
What to Expect
What is the duration of the dining experience?
The dining experience takes 2 hours to complete.
Is it safe to dine in total darkness?
Yes, it is safe to dine in total darkness. You will be led through a short guided tour by our professionally trained guides to your table before your meal is served to get you accustomed to the darkness. There are safety precautionary measures such as cameras and a well-designed evacuation plan in case of any emergency.
Do I dine in the darkness alone?
No, each dining session will have a minimum of 2 persons together with our waiters to serve you.
What will be each group size?
All groups will be a minimum of two (2) persons. If you intend to plan for a dining experience for a larger group, our location may not be able to accommodate. However, we are able to set up the same experience at a different location. Please reach out to us to discuss further.
